sadly the wall is coming down

every year we have this cool "wall of corn" that grows along both sides of the road on the way to our house, it's beautiful (and tall as you can see by the car) and we love it.. but a sure sign of fall is when they start cutting the swathes to dry it,,its coming down tonight! Goodbye corn until next year! I love the country!

Visitors

we are all clean again (mostly) and we had visitors! The neighbors horses make a getaway every now and then! Fun to "have horses" that I dont have to take care of!

After the Sanding

This is what we came home to after the floor was sanded. It's over both floors of the house,,,in every nook and cranny,,,took two days off to clean and paint,,,I'm going back to work to rest! what idiot started this?! oh right..ME!!
