My attempt at this blending challenge!

I love you

A conversation with a friend the other day made me remember something my father used to say. "When are you coming down?". He said it every time we spoke..often as i was leaving! My friend was distressed because his father never said "I love you" or seemed
proud of his life. My father rarely said I love you until he grew ill. But I always realized that "when are you coming down?" meant I love you..and I enjoy your company.
Are there phrases in your life that mean I love you?

Another Insane project

You would think I would learn..there is no such thing as a simple project in an
old house! We have decided to remove the slate floor in my humongous kitchen. It wasn't
laid properly so we thought most of our problem would be in removing the adhesive...wrong again! Suffice to say I am becoming quite proficient with a hammer and chisel..and its going to be a long summer...oh ..and then i will have to paint the trim before we lay the new floor..sigh

Best foot forward!

I put my "best foot forward" Sunday night and kicked a footstool in the dark. I believe
I have finally broken something! Not smart but it was bound to happen..I have never been able to walk by anything w/o hitting some part of it. Maybe I need a dog! So off to limp thru my day...

Dad and "Lady"?

I'm not sure if I remember her name correctly but this was my dad as a boy with one
of his Uncle Slicers ' hunting dogs.or was the puppy given to him? Anyway my tribute to them. And isn't it odd I find myself in love with a Springer also!

Purse Party

I adore my husband and we spend most of our time together but once in awhile there's nothing like a girls night! I'm sure men feel this way too..we had a real old fashioned giggle fest at a friends home last night. It was one of those in home purse parties where you design your own purse..pick out the style,fabric,strap..sell your kidneys to pay for it..LOL We has so much fun! I am blessed to have some real FRIENDS in my life!

Todays Visitor!

This Handsome fellow? was on my lawn when I got home tonight! A snipe I believe!We leave a good section of our property in high grass for the birds and wildlife..always fun to see who's out there next!My DH and I are going to take a ride tomorrow and see what kind of photos we can manage! Happy weekend!

Heat Wave

Vermont is having a real old fashioned heat wave. Ugh! I know it's summer but this is why I live here and not in Florida! Not into Hot! That sounds like a bumper sticker..hmm..!
I can already see what i did wrong with the collage and cant wait to try another..but I did want to say that I love Christine Renee designs! Thats where most all of the elements in that came from. I don't remember where i found the photo. Oh well off to work so I can afford to play some more!

My First Collage

I dabble in Flowers..

I make everyone else gifts of flowers ..this weekend I made myself an arrangement in an antique straw purse. Brightens up my office! We have a new employee who decorates his office with things hes found at the dump. Amazing stuff! He brought in a full Knight in Armor yesterday! LOL
