dog days of Winter

It's alot of work being a dog! We have to guard the hearth while parents are shoveling , working and shopping. Bring back more bones please!

    Yep, you've got that one right! My mini Dachs Amy would sit on top of that fire if she could - hates the cold - the temp only has to drop a little towards cooler and she is diving under the blankets!

    I have another one where she has gone to sleep there! Lyn that fire really toasts her fur! Its hot! She retreats to the floor with her brother or into my husbands cozy fireside chair also. Sometimes its him her and the cat! With the springer under the chair! Jennifer she always makes my day! I just love their furry faces!
