I have to admit I don't know much about cabin fever. In fact I know nothing! Snow doesn't exist in my part of the world where it is summertime at the moment. However, that doesn't stop be from heartily enjoying your wonderful picture and your whimsical sense of humour. Fantastic stuff.
I know where you are coming from, Debra. I visited the New England states in autumn a few years ago and saw quite a lot of Vermont which I loved. Here in south-western Australia we don't have a "fall". Our native trees and shrubs are evergreen. I will never forget the beautifully coloured autumn foliage and the scrumptious scenery. I should think that living in a vintage brick farmhouse in Vermont must be like living in a slice of heaven!
Thank you all for your generous compliments! Vermont is indeed a beautiful state any time of the year, but we have been spoiled the last few and have not had this bitter cold. Or the endless snow and gray skies we have been having this year! I miss the sun and daylight savings! But there is something about the crsip clean smell when its below zero or the smell of snow in the air!
I LOVE this piece! It's exactly how I feel. We, too, have had more than our share of bitter cold, endless snow and gray skies. Your O'Keeffe made me smile! Thanks for joining the challenge this week.
Oh wow, what a wonderful interpretation on O'Keeffe. I love it.
